The Top Products Awards will consist of two categories –
Hard Goods and Apparel.
Product submissions should reflect any or all of the following criteria: Innovation (unique, new, creative, general wow factor), Functionality, Quality, Attractiveness, Value, and Decorating Technique.
Product nominations are not limited to new products. We want to know what items you think have been a best-fit in 2019, or will be a fantastic fit for campaigns in 2020.
Products that will not make their commercial debut until the new year are eligible for scoring, provided a sample of the product can be provided if required. All participating judges and marketingedge team members sign confidentiality agreements.
CONTEST PERIOD & DEADLINE
The contest opens August 1, 2019. Open nominations will be accepted online, closing September 30.
All product nominations will be subject to a preliminary round of screening. All suppliers of qualifying product submissions will then be contacted and product samples requested for the second round review.
NOTE: If a requested product sample is not available before October 30 we will have to disqualify that product entry. Please make sure you will have access to a product sample for the second round screening and scoring.
*Any product samples are to be shipped at the supplier’s expense and will become the property of Marketingedge Magazine for the purposes of this award competition.
**Please note that all judges and Marketingedge Magazine representatives will sign a confidentiality agreement in order to ensure that no details about new products are revealed until winners are notified by the end of December 2019.
